Kampala, Uganda – His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Ibrahim Ahmed the Ambassador of Sudan (5th from right) paid a courtesy visit to the Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM) Secretariat here in Kampala, Uganda. The purpose of his visit was to initiate dialogue between RUFORUM and Arab States to discuss areas of joint action to boost the transformational agenda for universities and higher education in Africa and Arab countries.
Prof. Adipala Ekwamu, RUFORUM Executive Secretary welcomed the Ambassador and called upon His Excellency the Sudan Ambassador and other Arab States Ambassadors to help strengthen the collaboration between Arab States and African Universities to boost the transformational agenda for higher education and enhance entrepreneurial skills development among the youth in Africa and Arab league. Prof. Adipala also requested His Excellency the Ambassador to explore opportunities for partnership between RUFORUM member universities and Gulf/Arab funding Agencies.
