PhD Training Opportunities in Oil Field Chemicals Research, Petroleum and Environmental Studies at University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria

The Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM), a consortium of 66 universities operating in 26 African countries across the African continent is working in partnership with its member universities to support rebuilding of university staff capacity in order to meet the escalating demand for qualified staff to teach and conduct quality research at member universities in Africa. Accordingly, RUFORUM is pleased to announce available 15 Graduate Teaching Assistantship opportunities for 2017/2018 Academic year at the University of Port Harcourt, a RUFORUM Member University since 2014.

Particularly for this call, RUFORUM is working with the University of Port Harcourt in Nigeria to increase access to targeted quality PhD programs offered under the Center of Excellence for Oil Field Chemicals Research (CEFOR) hosted by the University. Academic staff from RUFORUM member universities are invited to apply. Women are especially encouraged to participate in the Program. Applications should be submitted by 30th June 2017.
